Can’t install ghcr.io/hassio-addons/ssh/amd64:19.0.0: 500 Server Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.47/images/create?tag=19.0.0&fromImage=ghcr.io%2Fhassio-addons%2Fssh%2Famd64&platform=linux%2Famd64: Internal Server Error (“Get “https://ghcr.io/v2/”: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)”)

I suspect if I take my Beelink mini to work I will be able to complete the installation, as happened when I first installed HAOS and the onboarding was failing at home. Github gets within HA seem wo fail from my home network.

Is there something in my router I should adjust? Specifying DNS servers did not help. Maybe setting MTU to something lower than 1500?

Similar error trying to install Z-Wave JS UI.

Probably a DNS issue.

Settings → System → Network. What are your DNS servers set to?

Try 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

Hi Tom,

Those are the servers I specified as primary and secondary.
Unfortunately that has not helped.

Thank you.

Something is blocking access to GitHub.

Can you ping ghcr.io?

Your router won’t work without DNS. What DNS servers did you use? Lowering the MTU might help, but I can’t imagine why. I suspect something in your Firewall.

Yes, I can ping ghcr.io.

I took the unit to work today and successfully installed the add-ons.
Maybe my ISP can explain it.

LOL!!! Your ISP doesn’t know the difference from a router and a switch.

You can ping ghcr.io, so DNS is working.

Wait- what?
What is the IP of your router?
What is the IP of your Home Assistant host?
