Unable to locate package libtiff6

Hi all,
I tried to install the core package after installing Python 10 and 12. In both cases I get the message “Unable to locate package libtiff6”. But I can’t find this package in the net.
Any idea?
Thank you!

You will need to install Python 3.11 and the dev package.

This install method does put the onus on you for knowing what is needed and how to keep it up to date.
Also no addons, tho you can install those manually if you know what you are doing.

Thank you!
Does this mean, 3.10 and 3.12 do not work?

No clue what requires libtiff, but I suspect that can be ignored.

3.10 is deprecated and 3.12 not yet supported.
Typically, HA only supports a single python version for a given HA version.

The 2024.2 beta is running on Python 3.12

OT: How long will 3.11 be supported?

Could it be that they support it as long as the end of support says on Python‘s download page?

Thank you all!

3.11.7 did it. Took a while, but finally it’s running.

Hello, how do you run up libtiff6 and can you leave your solution?

It is available in Debian 12 (Bookworm) based systems. You might need to upgrade your distribution.

Thanks, I will try it
