Unable to open Samba Hassio after installing new routerfirmware

Today I switched my netgear firmware to dd-rwt.
on my Netgear r8000
In de basics it worked out fine.
I’m only not possible to open HA anymore by Samba in the explorer.
The network device is vissible: but gives an access error.:

I did restart and reinstall Samba, no effect.
If I look in the Samba log I do see attemps for logging in:

I do have the feeling it is something to do with login credentials.
But I get no loggin prompt.
Any ideas?

Sounds like your wins server is operating differently, I don’t bother using it so unclear of the intracacies.

Thry just using the ip address instead that’s a lot more robust.
e.g. //192.168.0.200/config

I did but the same problem. “Not acces to open network”

Okay check your samba config to check username and password.
When you double click the link you should get an ‘options’ (can’t remember exactly) use that to login as different user and enter the details you noted.

I found the problem.
My upgraded router now makes two ip’s.
one for wifi one for lan
It wasn’t in first setup before upgrade

I have two ip addresses for all devices having both WiFi and cabled ethernet.
It’s always been the case as far as I know as they are different connections.

Do you know how to force HA to use only lan?

Don’t give the pi any WiFi setup
Are you running hassos, raspbian or … ?
(you can disable WiFi via raspi-config if you’re on buster etc.)

But I’d assign a fixed ip address from the dhcp and ignore the other one

Thanks again I’m using PI4+
I did make a fixed eth0 adress
