Unable to pair smart plug (PLUG-001SPB2) via Zigbee2Mqtt

Hey all,

I have just changed from deconz to Zigbee2mqtt using a conbee2 on home assistant (running on synology nas). This was due to a radiator valve which was not supported using deconz. I got everything running smoothly again however the smart plugs from Tuya

https://m.de.aliexpress.com/item/1005003446740203.html?spm=a2g0n.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.60ad636826cEpr&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu

won’t stay connected. The Led indicator blinks on doing a reset. It will be recognised as Tuya TS011F_plug_1 it than can be configured for a amount of time. After a few seconds the led indicating the paring stops blinking. Then no interaction with the device is possible anymore. Using deconz these plugs worked fine. I could not find anything related to this and I’m quite new to Zigbee2mqtt. Does anybody know what to do here?

I have bunch of these they are working great. Much better than xiaomi ones.
I don’t understand did you manage to pair them?
To pair the plug hold on red button till its start blinking. Then release.
Never had a problem pairing them.

I have 2 of them, besides power metering is not working for me they pair fine and without problems.
Which version of Z2M do you have, the actual one is 1.30.4?

I use version 1.30.4-1. I’ve also only encountered the problem since I switched from deconz to zigbee2mqtt.

Everytime I’m trying to repair them, they get paired and show up within the GUI but the blinking of the led does not stop. I am able to switch them on or off while the led blinks but once it stops it is not accessible anymore. It seems that they somehow lose connection or the paring is not completely finished.

If led didn’t stop blinking than pair process was not finished. When pairing is finished led will stop blink.

The response from the Zigbee2mqtt addon from home assistant states that the pairing was done successfully but the blinking does not stop instantly. I’m not sure what to do else. I’ve tried to repair them a bunch of times already and always fave the same issue

Delete it from z2m and mqtt.
Restart ha.
Plug it near the coordinator if you can and start pairing process.
It’s important to restart ha after you delete device from z2m and mqtt

Have done this, didn’t help. Situation is still the same with these plugs. Everything else works fine after repairing from deconz to z2m

I have the same plugs, or at least on the picture they are looking the same. Never had a problem with them. And some of them are really far away from coordinator.

I switched to ZHA. Everything works fine now. I’ve no clue what the issues were with z2m
