Unable to whitelist dirs

So i kinda gave up on the RSS feed as i can’t test it,

So i thought i’d curl the XML RSS feed and then use the new watch file feature in HASS. but i seem to be getting

2018-08-08 15:06:02 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.loader] Unable to find component whitelist_external_dirs
2018-08-08 15:06:02 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.setup] Setup failed for whitelist_external_dirs: Component not found.

My config is

whitelist_external_dirs:
  - /weather/weather.txt

output of ls -lsa from /

drwxrwxr-x 2 james james 4.0K Aug 8 15:13 weather

Just rebooted in case it was

But this has not worked either, same error.

Eugh trailing slash got me…
just white list the folder, not the file.

I’ll see if i can add an example to the docs, as there isn’t one.
