Hi, I´m running HA on a docker container on a Synology nas and I´m using the HUSBZB-1 stick and some xiaomi sensors (temp, motion, door and vibration). When I restart HA some of the devices appear as unavailable. I´ve seen this on the documentation:
“¨On Linux hosts ZHA can fail to start during HA startup or restarts because the zigbee USB device is being claimed by the host’s modemmanager service. To fix this disable the modemmanger on the host system”
Someone know if its possible to do this on a synology nas??
cheers

Hi same issue for me with Conbee II stick. I found that same suggestion about disabling modemmanager but I don’t know if it’s safe to do it on a Synology NAS.
Did it work for you?
Thanks
Hi, sorry mate. Finaly moved to a raspberry pi4
Thanks for answering!
At the end I solved the problem, but it wasn’t related to modemmanager, as this service is not running/present on Synology. It was a bad firmware issue, a downgrade was the answer
