2022.2 broke device trackers. Functionality that worked perfectly fine was removed with no way for us, the users, to restore that functionality to the way it was. Nevermind the fact that this should not have happened, kindly return device trackers to their prior functionality.
Thank you.

It might be better to explain what the prior functionality was before it was lost.

It’s this:
opened 06:43PM - 18 Jan 23 UTC
integration: unifi
### The problem
THe change to the unifi integration to disable device trackers … by default broke cases to identify unknown users of a network.
count of clients in guest network for instance?
Having to enable trackers manually for unknown uncontrolled network segments defeats the purpose of having the tracker...
It has also caused confusion among users of the Unifi component. The issue has arisen multiple times per month since the behavior change,,,
Please reverse the change of device trackers off by default
<OR>
Suggestion - User selectable by network.? (Guest Subnet or SSID?)
User selectable option (default off if unset) would probably be the BEST case if possible.
