Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token I in JSON at position 16213 after update stuck on Loading Data

Good afternoon
I am new to Home Assistant, I have an extensive network of Insteon Devices controlled by a robust Isy994Pro
I am using (for now) Home Assistant to bridge the ISY994 to Homekit and to include some hue and sonoff (tasmota) to the mix.
Home assistant has huge potential and I am aware of the fact that you should never update without a backup and without testing the new version!
Well…lesson learned!

After the update everything works except I am unable to access the web interface.
I don’t have ssh access but the configurator plugin is enabled and in working condition.

This is the error:
2018-10-08 13:00:48 ERROR (MainThread) [frontend.js.latest.201809270] http://192.168.1.201:8123/:1:16214 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token I in JSON at position 16213

I have a non recent backup, is there anything I can upload to restore webaccess functionality?

Any suggestion?

Thank you for your help

Take a look at this issue
https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/issues/16966

There’s a workaround until the next patch release. I just tried the workaround and works great.
