Under bed lights motion sensor advice

I need some advice in regards to putting led lights under the bed.
What I need help with is the PLACEMENT of the 2 motion sensors. One to trigger each side.
I have two strips under the bed, my side and my wife’s side.
I also have a medium sized dog.
I need advice of possible locations of where to place the motion sensor.
I do not want my dog to trigger them all night when she moves around.
Any one have ideas.
Thanks

under your bed, if possible, i have 2 censors which i placed in the middle, pointing to each side ( on a adjustable metalplate(in length)) and a cover plate in the end of the ajustable-plate, so they couldn’t detect people walking past the foot-end , they only detect when person/dog goes ca 50cm in at each long-side (from foot-end) … I hate being disturb by light, when “other parts” goes up, or walk by … it´s only ment as lead-light during night, for the “needed”

Here is what I finally did.
I built 2 wooden boxes (wemos d1 mini and pir sensor)

, one for each side of the bed. They are 40" off the ground, so they do not pick up my pets. They will sometimes pick up motion if my wife flips her pillow over and gets in the PIR zone.
I also placed the pir sensor inside a piece of pvc that would “focus” the motion zone.

I hope that this helps someone.
