Under the kitchen cabinets LED's

Hi all,
So the thing is I have 12V white LED’s under the kitchen cabinet that came originally with the kitchen. They are powered by a 12V power supply that connects to a “dumb” controller that has a dimmer touch capability with a touch pad of sorts under the cabinet.
My question is how can I integrate esp32 or esp8266 so I can still use that touch pad that will dim the lights and of course turn them on and off?

I would like to integrate esp so I can control them from HA and maybe in the future add a light and a presence sensor.

Not sure if this will work for your lights, but I just plugged the lights into a dimmable outlet and got rid of the inline dimmer.
