I installed the unifi integration but cannot for the life of me get it to adopt my U6 mesh AP. This is the first device I am trying to adopt. I even tried another brand new one with the same results. Multiple reset attempts. It just endlessly tries to adopt but never does? Re- install the integration?
I did not have all the necessary ports forwarded. Ubiquiti apparently needs access to the cloud to adopt devices. Until the ports were forwarded the device would not adopt.
DO you think this would work for switches also?
I just installed the unify network addon on my HA Green and am trying to reset my Ubiquity devices and started with the most non critical. Tried on a 5 port flex switch and its now stuck in a adopt loop. Which ports and how did you forward them? Is a process you found somewhere i could try? Thanks in advance!

The log in Home assistant for this addon will tell you what errors are causing you not to adopt.
Here are the ports I forwarded, the blacked out values are the internal IP address of your home assistant instance.
