Unifi Integration Not Detecting New Phone

So I’ve had presence detection using the Unifi integration working great. Granted presence detection with Wifi is a little laggy when you get home but overall it’s been pretty reliable. The better half just replaced her iPhone X with a brand new iPhone 14 Pro. When I went to update the devices associated with her Home/Away status I noticed that her new phone wasn’t available. Looking further into the devices detected by the integration I never saw it in the list of available devices.

Is anyone experiencing the unifi integration not detecting new devices on the network?

My Unifi equipment is on the the following versions

UDMP UinifiOS Version: 1.12.30
Aggregation Switch: 6.3.13
Poe Switch 24 Pro: 6.3.13
AP U6-Pro: 6.2.39
Network App Version: 7.2.94

If you are using the unifi network integration, not the direct application I think this is expected. There was a change in the last ~10 releases where new clients were not automatically added as “enabled” entities (i.e. automatically tracked). Open your wife’s WiFi settings and see what her MAC address is and then search for that address in the list of entties for the Unifi Integration. You may need to ‘enable’ that entity in the entity settings.

Also, iphones default to a private address and it can change sometimes. I would turn off private wifi address setting to avoid future issues.
