It would be great if crossing line notifications were added to the Unifi Protect integration.
The problem is not to distinguish between different types of detections. The problem is that currently Crossing line does not come up in the status of “detected_object”-entity at all. It just stays “none”. So Crossing line can’t now be used i HA. It’s ok if it detects as “person” or “vehicle” like other smart detections. Great if this could this be fixed in the Protect integration.

I am new to HA but just about anything can be done
and HA has access directly to unifi already with the intergration

With the latest version of protect 4.1.31, it adds an alarm manager and you can use webhooks as actions. There is a trigger for line crossing so this is now possible to trigger an automation in HA

looking forward to dat update (I did not receive it yet). I woul like to integrate linecrossing in my homeassisant!.
