Pretty frequently, it seems, my Unifi Protect integration needs to reauth with my cloud key.
While it might not be possible to prevent that from occurring, I would like if the reauth flow were pre-populated with the existing credentials, so I don’t have to wait until I get back to a machine with the password manager for that to trigger the flow.
In cases where the credentials did change, I’d be able to update them, but in the usual case, I could just click ‘ok’ (or automate reauth!) without needing to know the password.
Weird, thanks for replying. FWIW, my CK2+ and HA box are hooked up to the same mini switch, and are literally right next to each other. The Unifi Network integration is (seemingly) solid. Protect will be fine for weeks and then I’ll go a few days where it’s needing to re-auth >1 time per day.
The part that was annoying was that the re-auth prompt isn’t populated with the credentials, so I’m usually unable to resolve it until I get to a PC instead of from the mobile app.
I’ll try that next time I get the reauth request. I feel like that hasn’t worked in the past, but I’m not certain I’ve tried that before. Restarting HA has definitely got it working again when I wanted the cameras up urgently.
Thank you!
I had it happen again, and I turned on debug logging before I reloaded the integration.
It turns out that did work, it’s that the “needs attention” button in devices/services persists.
I can go ahead and file an issue on github with the logs from the reload (everything seemed to work fine) if that’s the best approach to continue.
I’ve seen similar problems with other integrations. The problem may lie in one of the refresh tokens being corrupted.
Afaik there is no way to know which one and the solution is to delete them all. This will require you to re log into everything browsers mobile app etc. Also DO NOT delete the long-lived access tokens. They are at the bottom of your (admin) profile page.
