Unifi "Set value for camera Zoom Level" stopped working

I have an automation set up to “Set value for Camera 01 Zoom Level”
Device: 01
Action: Set value for 01 Zoom Level
Value*: 0

This used to work but now does not work. All the other automation using the Unifi cameras still works but zoom does not.

Core 2024.4.3
Supervisor 2024.04.0
Operating System 12.2
Frontend 20240404.2

When I select run on the automation in home assistant it says it has run but the zoom on the camera does not change. It used to work.

Could the automation not be working due to this?

If so will zoom be available for Unifi cameras again in future updates to Home Assistant?

When did it stop working? After upgrade to 2024.4.3?

Unfortunately I do not know when it quit working. I noticed the focus on my cameras drifts so I had an automation to zoom all of the cameras all the way out all the way back in then return to set zoom position. This forced the cameras to refocus once a week so I just forgot about it until I noticed my cameras were getting out of focus. So I don’t know how long it has not worked.

Can you set the value through Home Assistant without the automation?

The zoom bar is grayed out and does not move even outside of an automation.

Probably should log an issue: Issues · home-assistant/core · GitHub.

This feature is working again it appears that a recent update added the ability to control zoom on Unifi cameras back to Home Assistant.
