I’m trying to set up a user in my HA system that uses a Samsung Galaxy. All of my other users are iPhone, and in my dashboard I have the person state shown (home/away). For the Galaxy user, it’s showing up as unknown. When we set up his account and the app on his phone, I was sure to accept all tracking prompts. As I’m not an Android user, I’m unsure if there may be something additional that needs to be changed to permit the person tracking to function in my dashboard. I really need to figure this out, as this individual will be house sitting while my family is on vacation, and the status of his phone determines how the home automation works.
Any advice?
