Update from 0.102.2 to 0.103.4 issues

After performing this update on Hass on RPi I noticed that my z-wave connection with my thermostat (Horstmann z-wave) was failing and my Denon receiver disappeared from the Heos integration leaving me with the message that there was no device attached. Autodiscover was not detecting anything.

Do I have to downgrade or is there another solution?

In the mean time I found my Denon receiver back in the Heos integration. After removing and reinstalling the integration for about 8 times suddenly the receiver appears. Now I am waiting :coffee: :coffee: :plate_with_cutlery: :sandwich: for the thermostat device.
This thermostat device is a strange thing. It is there, o yeah, but one of the entities is not working (not available), The other entities of the devices are functioning. But, the one thing I MUST have,

climate.horstmann_secure_meters_hrt4_zw_thermostat_transmitter_heating_1

is the troublemaker.

At last I started all over again with a fresh install of Hass. After importing my z-wave devices from Aeotec Z-wave stick Gen 5 I noticed that the same thing is happening with the Horstmann thermostat. The entity heating_1 was not there. I don’t know what to do about this.

  • Start all over again?
  • Keep rebooting?
  • Exclude and include the thermostat?

Someone has a better idea?

I excluded and included the SRT321. The climate entity is not showing up.

I decided to downgrade to 0.102.3 and when installing I saw this:

Jan 3 11:06:57 Homeassistant hass[652]: 2020-01-03 11:06:57 INFO (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.entity_registry] Registered new climate.zwave entity: climate.horstmann_secure_meters_hrt4_zw_thermostat_transmitter_heating_1_2

So it is depending on what version I have installed. Now I have to try to rebuild everything that went wrong after the upgrade to 0.103.5

But now I am wondering if this ever will be fixed so I can update and still have my entities complete? How can I know this when an update is announced?
