Update HA to 64-bit system

Hi all,

As HA 32-bit is being deprecated:

I need to update my system to 64-bit (I’m using a raspberry 4 64-bit so I’m able to update), but the problem is that right now I’m using this installation which is going to be deprecated:

I would like to continue with my OS and running HA via docker, the same way I’m working right now.
The problem is that I don’t see a clear way to achieve this…

Anybody tried yet?
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks team.

Have you tried reading the docs?

This is valid for a raspberry?
This is for installing a virtual machine in a linux machine, and I would like to continue with docker in a raspberry…
The installation process for raspberry involves the reinstallation of OS to use HA OS…

This is the link you need

Unless you read the whole page I linked which covers installing in docker further down the page.

I could use some help as well.

I’m running a Pi4 and HAOS as a standalone machine. It’s not quite clear to me if I need to re-flash the entire OS on the card and restore from a backup, or if there’s an automated upgrade/migration to the 64 bit version that I can launch.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Backup, copy backup of the system, flash the 64-bit OS, restore from the backup

That is the only upgrade path for 32-bit HAOS
