Update issue core-2021.3.2

Hello
I’m trying to update ha core from core-2021.3.2 to core-2021.3.3.
but it keeps failing.
at my first attempt there was an error message, which I dismissed. I tried 2 times more.
but the window just disappeared.
the supervisor menu stopped working, HA was terribly slow, and restart didn’t work.
so after 30 minutes I unplugged the power and plugged it in again.
booting took over 5 minutes.
Then I try to update HA again, but still no lock.
I get the same error as the first time
image
So I checked the log, And I get this in a loop

21-03-11 20:09:46 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.misc.tasks] Watchdog/Docker found a problem with observer plugin!
21-03-11 20:09:46 INFO (MainThread) [supervisor.plugins.observer] Starting observer plugin

I’m not sure how to apply the update now.
I’m not using docker. but the error is mentioning it.
does any one know how I can update?

Hi Bart,

Although my system did appear to update to 2021.3.3 I’m now seeing a similar loop of error messages in my supervisor logs (see below).

My HA is running the following (current) versions within a Synology VMM:
core-2021.3.3
supervisor-2021.03.4
Home Assistant OS 5.12

Ok i’m not really sure what i did to fix the issue but i stopped a few of my add ons which werent really being used at the time - i deleted some old snapshots for the sake of space even though i had plenty and restarted supervisor - Once i got the error i rebooted host from the UI which i thought would have no effect but it came back after 5mins and its apparently updated.

I have seen the unknown supervisor error popping up after all 2021.3.0, .1, .2, and .3 updates.
I have no entries in supervisor log that indicates an error. And the upgrade works. It seems to be a bogus error

I got it working,
don’t know exactly what did the trick, but I did the following

  1. disabled tts as I didn’t use it anyway.
  2. disabled all add ons on restart
  3. stopped all add ons.
  4. restarted HA.
  5. start update
  6. still run into this error.
  7. wait for an hour(plan was 1, became 3,)
and update was done. without any notable reason.
And I enabled the add on again.

Thank you all for responding.
