Hello everyone,
Besides some bugs im facing with my Hikvision cameras after the update, i noted a gigantic increase in CPU and RAM usage on the VM.
Before i had 8gb + 2 cpu, and load on both was around 35% of total capacity.
After update i was… well, lets say forced, to increase ram to 12gb - which now its using around 50%, and to 6 vcpu, that still are struggling to keep up.
I did no prior changes before the update.
Anyone facing same weird behaviors?
Any possible advise?
Since you mention it, I just looked at mine (which is a very new install and not heavy in use or automations). I run the HAOS on a Proxmox. The blue increase was right after I appied the 2024.11.1 update.
Your CPU also spiked up, maybe not as intense as mine as i have several “live” tuya cams on the dashboard now, and sensors updating each 1min, but yes… i noticed it going up, i mean not that i mean i literally have more than enough for th VM to use if needed - but i find it weird
Imagine you had only 2gb

I also see an increase in my memory usage
but not really cpu spiking
CPU/Memory Spikes can be effected by other things running on you hypervisor or pc with virtualbox. Take a look and see if a vm is running harder than the rest.
This below is the Proxmox setup and the loads I am seeing. My HA is monitoring Co2 and Partcular Matter in the air, so it is constantly working on something.

In my case is the usage either of VM or local machine is the same before and after the update. A few tabs on chrome with YouTube playlists, a few gdocs open, unity editor on the 2nd screen and my CCTV local app on the 3rd screen, and on the first the HA. So I had same usage before and after 
Like I said not that it matters a lot to me specifically, I just found it odd
My CPU has returned back to roughly where it was. The RAM consumtion is still almost double of what it was. And as you mentioned, for me it was not something that would brick me as I have plenty of available resources. But I don’t recall any mention of new system requirements… but I’m still very new to HA.
Also, I was watching that Release Youtube they had for 2024.11. Seems they added quite a lot of changes, especially around dashboards and such. And there were several threads out here about some breakage after the update. At this point mine is fine, but I’m pondering restoring my backup prior to the update just to see if it all reverses back.
I didn’t update from 2024.11, but the .1 release instead.
