Update to 0.111 gone wrong: HA not starting anymore

Hi guys

I am running HA in a Proxmox container, installed this way.
In the past I have updated succesfully every time with the instruction of that same guide but now it has gone south.

Can someone please give me some tips on solving this?

  1. find the home-assistant.log file
  2. read any line that has a big ERROR in front of it
  3. follow the advice of the error or read the breaking changes of the release or check your configuration against the integration page

just some tips, or just post blindly asking why your install doesn’t work but provide no information on your integrations or configuration.

Hi squirtbrnr thanks for steppin’ in.

Don’t know if this could have gone worse but I reran the update since I didn’t expect an answer that quick.
Apparently that solved it.
Since even the webUI didn’t come up, I thought this was more serious then an integration because they start at a later point - compared to before.

For future reference: what would be necessary to provide as information?

  • summarizing the integrations
  • configuration.yaml
  • ?
