Wont let me restart. Do I just power it off and on ?
I just had to leave it - that was the longest one by far yet - many times longer for some reason. The backups finished in the expected time, but the install - took ages.
Seems to be a common issue, and patience, rather than diving in and doing a lot of troubleshooting seems to be the best solution.
Curious why however? Is there a slow download of one module, big download, multiple conversions overloading the system, disk space or memory shortages causing paging, interdependencies that are waiting on the other to start, or something else?
It worked, so the evidence may have gone.
Curious.
