Aaagh the wait is killing me! I want it now…oh wait I can have it now!
I think the new release schedule worked well for the first release with only 1 update but the availability of details on the next release seems frustratingly missing even though by now we should be at end of beta by now?
It has been released as 0.66. The beta for 0.67 has already started, release notes to be can be found on https://rc.home-assistant.io
I’m getting 404 errors for the links to docs for the new components? Just not updated yet or am i missing something?
Cheers
Feel free to help fix those
Ah, realized we linked docs to the main site which doesn’t have the new docs yet. Fixed to point at the rc domain.
Getting “too many redirects” message on the rc domain…
Don’t forget to include the rc tag in your docker run command as well.
Here’s what worked for me (cut out the z-wave portion if you aren’t using it):
sudo docker pull homeassistant/home-assistant:rc
sudo docker run -d --name=“home-assistant” -v /home/homeassist:/config -v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro --device=/dev/ttyACM0:/zwaveusbstick:rwm --net=host homeassistant/home-assistant:rc
Will these docker image tags also be available for the other images? (raspberrypi2, raspberrypi3)
The earliest place to see release notes for a new release is https://rc.home-assistant.io/ right?
Is there a rule of thumb for which beta release the release notes will be available? I can`t find any for 0.69.0b0.
