Updating Aqara device firmware in Home Assistant via ZHA

Hello,

I have a Zigbee dongle that works well with Home Assistant via ZHA and it’s not limited to Aqara, which allows me to limit the number of gateways and hardware. Is there a way to update my Aqara sensors and devices’ firmware via ZHA in Home Assistant? If not, if I was to get the gateway, would I be able to map my devices back to Home Assistant and have them present on both the Aqara hub and ZHA?

In order for HA to be able to update the firmware, the mfgr would need to cooperate with HA and provide the files to update.

I have an idea ,
For you and anyone else that’s a Aqara Customer, I would suggest asking the mfgr to look into the works with home assistant program.
Works with Home Assistant becomes part of the Open Home Foundation.
