Upgrade from 2021.12.6 to latest breaks everything

Hi all,

I have a old version of HA: 2021.12.6, when I try to upgrade my energy system breaks, due to a change in MQTT settings from sbfspot. This is the reason I still haven’t upgraded.

My question is: Can I upgrade to the next version 2021.10.8 and see if I can fix the differences and keep my installation running with adjusted configuration files?

I have downloaded the version form github(https://github.com/home-assistant/core/releases), but I don’t know how to proceed.

Yes, you can incrementally upgrade one release at a time if you want, but you need to do it from the CLI via the console or an SSH session:
