Running on HA 0.82.0 I get a notification that .1 is ready. I upgrade. It fails. I go to command line. I try to manually downgrade. It fails but shows I downgraded. I try to manually upgrade. It fails but shows I upgraded. I am now back to 82.0, try to on the UI upgrade to .1 and it says okay… and then does nothing.
I get this consistent error message saying the manual downgrade/upgrades fail yet seem to succeed.
> Error decoding json invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value: <html><head><title>500 Internal Server Error</title></head><body><h1>500 Internal Server Error</h1>Server got itself in trouble</body></html>
what site is it looking for when the Internal Server Error comes up? Sometimes websites, including ones associated with HA, are simply down/overloaded/misconfigured.
I am getting the same thing. HassIO on Raspberry Pi 3 B+.
Reports 0.82.1 is available. First time I tried to update, the whole thing crashed and became totally unresponsive, requiring a power cycle to get it back and it reloaded back at 0.82.0. Now, every time I try to upgrade, the UPGRADE button just goes red and nothing else happens.
Is there a cache or temp file in HassIO that needs to be cleared when an upgrade crashes?
Done. Same issue, same error. Even with downgrade to .81.2, same error message yet successful. Upgrade to 82.1 “error, see logs” (nothing in log). Upgrade to 82.0, same error message yet successful.
