The Sonoff Mini is a fantastic option for enhancing your traditional doorbell with smart features such as smartphone notifications, Home Assistant control and the ability to mute the chime during specific hours, like bedtime for kids.
I’ve come across other solutions utilizing a Shelly 1, which require an additional AC/DC adapter and running higher voltage through the button wires. However, the Sonoff Mini is a more affordable and well-suited option for this scenario.
