Upload ESPhome firmware to ESP32 via andoid phone?

Helllo to all!

I tried to connect an ESP32-C6 to the Android phone, in order to upload an already-made firmware file, to no avail… Chrome does not recognize the serial port…

Tried with USB Debugging enabled, same results.

Tried via OTG cable, again no results.

Is there a way to use and android phone and flash ESPhome firmware to an ESP32?

I think this is a fact of life. My understanding is that Android browsers don’t have the serial port support you need. Certainly I’ve had no luck with a Chromebook.

You need Windows or Linux - I’ve found the latter works well.
