UPNP/IGD has caused unwanted sensors to appear

HA-entities%20unknown

I have just installed home assistant and when I went to integration and clicked UPNP/IGD it added a whole lot of info from the router.

I went to entities and removed them one by one, and then disabled UPNP/IGD but the sensors now just show as not found.

How can I remove them completly.

I have looked through all the yaml files and can’t seem to find where the data is stored.

Should be on known_devices.yaml and then restart Home Assistant

Delete the integration if you are no longer using it (top right trash icon on the UPNP integration page). That should remove them.

I have done that, but have the icons in image that remain.

where can I find the known_devices.yaml file, as this is not in homeassistant directory

Yaml Files in the HA directory
automations.yaml
configurations.yaml
customize.yaml
groups.yaml
scripts.yaml
secrets.yaml

No known_devices.yaml

oh it’s on HA version 0.87.1

Umm weird! it should be right in your config folder together with the configuration.yaml, etc.

Add this your configuration.yaml

discovery:
  ignore:
    - igd

Thanks,

I have done a clean install again, and just didn’t start the igp this time.

Thanks for the response, should it happen again, I now know where to change it.

Thanks again.

Have just done a clean install again, and known_devices.yaml is still not in the folder, but the clean install has resolved my issue, I just won’t auto configure igp

Found where the “badges” at the top of the screen are edited.

Top right of Overview the burger menu …
Then Configure UI
Burger Menu again at top right
Raw Config Editor

under the badges section there is a list of badge entities that can be edited.
