USB 2.0 Hub for all the radios

I am running home assistant on a proxmox VM on hp prodesk 400 g3. It has 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back. As these are clustered closely together I can only use a maximum of 2 ports at a time.

If I buy a USB 2.0 to USB 2.0 hub and connect my zigbee, thread and z-wave dongles to this, would the bandwidth be sufficient for all three? Assuming 480Mbps should be a lot for sensor data.

You should be using USB extension cords to get your USB hubs away from metallic objects and up nice and high, but USB2.0 should be plenty of bandwidth. Be sure to get a powered USB hub to supply sufficient power to your radio dongles.

Thanks for the information. I haven’t been able to find a powered usb 2.0 hub. Will keep looking. Thanks.
