USB Conflict or......?

I’ve been running a HASSIO install on a Rasperry Pi 4 with a HUSBZB-1 ZWave/Zigbee Dual USB Stick. I recently purchased a TrippLite 1300 UPS and figured I would try to integrate it into my HA setup to monitor. I installed the Network UPS Tools (NUT) add-on from the HA Store and configured it as a new sensor and plugged it into my Raspberry Pi through the USB port. To my surprise everything worked very well when I rebooted my Raspberry Pi, the UPS was reporting and the rest of my devices seemed like they were fine. Fast forward a couple hours and it seemed like none of my Z-Wave devices weren’t functioning. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong so I restarted my HA server. Everything came back to life but a couple hours later the same scenario played out. I’ve tried plugging the UPS intro different USB ports but ultimately the same thing happens in time. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions? I’m stumped!

Same thing has happened to me. I have NUT seems to be conflicting with Zwave JS or my new Zooz zwave stick. I had to stop using NUT to keep it from conflicting with zwave.

Glad to hear that I wasn’t crazy! I never did get that resolved. I ended up using the APC UPS Daemon plugin with a raspberry pi in between…it’s not that well supported but it seems to be working for now.

Did anybody find a solution to this or a work around? I have the same issue, zwaveJS crashes within hours of running Nut. I just leave Nut disabled for now.
