USB Cooler Fan controlled by Mikrotik or ODROID temperature

Hi all.

I’m very, very new on HA. I just installed it and is looking for a way to take advantage of it, but it is not still as useful as it could be, I’m learning and see what it can do for me, since my home is still with just some SONOFF mini and they are well controlled by eWelink, but I want to integrate other things.

So, let go to my problem/doubt. I’ve been searching and found nothing like what I want to do.

I have a ODROID HC2 and a Mikrotik router. HA is installed on a docker container on this docker. Both are physically located inside a closed shaft and it tends to be somewhat hot, but not that much. Anyway, I’d like to install a cooler on the shaft’s door and I’d like it to turn on/off on temperature thresholds.

For that, I can buy a SONOFF TH10, but it is too much, I don’t have much space nor a extra power plug. So, I’m thinking of purchasing a SONOFF USB WIFI adapter (plugged on Mikrotik or ODROID USB slot), so that I can turn it on/off using HA/eWelink. But I need to take the temperature from another place and I was thinking I could get ODROID or Mikrotik system temperature for that.

To do that is simple, a simple shell script on ODROID and a simple command on Mikrotik gives me that. But doing that I also need to notify HA to turn the cooler ON/OFF.

Like I said, I know almost nothing about HA for now. Still learning. Is there a way for my scripts, or even Mikrotik notify HA and then it turn on/off the SONOFF USB ???

Let me update my case.
I just found out that part of my problem can be addressed by installing HACS and add integration to Mikrotik Router. With this, I have access to m Router temperature right inside HA and can create a trigger to start the SMART USB that the cooler can be plugged-in.

But I’d also like to make the cooler start when my ODROID gets too hot. It has SNMP, and temp sensors. And the Harddrive is a SATA 3.5’, it get very hot when in use.
