I’m new to the HA world after using SmartThings for over 5 years. However, in my fresh install I’ve into a problem that I can’t figure out. I have the latest hass.io VM image (version 0.113.3) running in Virtual box 6.1.12 with extensions (for USB controller) on top of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (nothing fancy here, pretty much the basic desktop install) talking over GoControl HUSBZB-1 zwave/zigbee stick.
About every 24 or so hours, I’m getting a ‘ohci-pci 0000:00:06.0: frame counter not updating; disabled’ and ‘ohci-pci 0000:00:06.0: HC died; cleaning up’ message, which then is followed by the usb disconnected message (usb 2-1: USB disconnect, device number 2). This then trips up the cp210x to disconnect and leads to loss of connectivity to devices. I have to reboot the VM to get things to come back online.
I’ve seen that some years ago there was a kernel issue, but nothing of late. Are there any troubleshooting steps I should take to get to the bottom of this?
