USB switch controlled by HA?

Hi. Im looking for an USB switch controlled by HA which would allow me to use one USB-HID device to around 10 different “host” devices. Only one of the devices would be online at the time, so potentially an automatic switcher would work, but it would be even better if i could select an input via HA.
Has anyone seen a device like that?

The term could mean different things to different people. Care to share a photo of something similar by saying “I want some version of this, but it would behave x and y and z”…?

Or, elaborate your problem on why you need this to begin with. Maybe people could figure out something else, but achieve the same.

What we used in the past were commercial products which allowed to have a usb device connected via the network to hosts. It worked good but was mainly an emergency solution (required custom driver installs) to have like “usb license keys” (old times ) present in virtual machines.

The thing is that i havent seen this specific device in the past. I think the closest ones are enterprise KVM’s which are controlled via the network or serial interface and can switch VGA, USB, audio, PS2 between multiple hosts, except i only need USB and also something smaller than server rack size.
Alternatively there are automatic SCART switchers available on Aliexpress, something similar would do but for USB.

Im looking to automate my collection of old console. I have already managed to sort out audio and video channels, but the controllers are still to do. I would like to be able to use one 8bitdo pad or UniThor joystick to controll all of them. My current plan is to install a controller to USBHID adapter in each console and connect all those USB cables to one switch which would have and 8bitdo USB adapter on the other end
