I’m not sure if I’m late to the party on this but I just figured out how to use the Alexa app on my Android phone to control Home Assistant with voice commands.
Here is the guide I used. It’s SUPER EASY!
It replaces the Google Assistant on your phone but since I don’t have any Google Home devices then it’s no loss at all for me.
And you can still do voice searches using Google by using the little microphone button in the google search bar.
