Use HA "Installation" name in html page title

I have multiple HA instances, and thus multiple “Overview - Home Assistant” tabs opened, without being able to tell which is which just by the title.

It would be nice to replace the “- Home Assistant” constant by the actual name of the instance as defined in “Configuration - General”

Why not create another dashboard, call it something else as “Overview” and set it as default?

That would be nice
Best usage cases are e.g. editing automation in UI- what one is that I am working on? Scroll-scroll :frowning:
Best, JR

That wouldn’t fix the issue if I have the same dashboard name in 2 instances, would it
Anyway, seems my proposal makes more sense than to have to duplicate “overview”.

Bottom-line is that we have an instance name, so why not using that rather than the hardcoded “Home Assistant”? If you want to keep “Home Assistant”, it’d just be easy to set your instance name to that.

So you’re suggesting a workaround to undo you feature request  Anyway, I think you forgot to vote for your own request.

Heh? I was assuming that “Why not create another dashboard, call it something else as “Overview” and set it as default” is because you absolutely love the “Home Assistant” part, otherwise I don’t see the point of you remark as an inplicit -1…

Seriously, I really don’t care about your feature request. I simply offered a solution to your ‘issue’ which is availble right now and can be done within 10 seconds. I even suggested to vote for your own request. If you consider this a -1, I think you got up on the wrong side of the bed.

I think you didn’t understand his issue, and therefore didn’t understand why your suggestion was not acceptable to solve it.

Maybe not (although I think I do) but that is why I end my post with a question mark.

Maybe just not a common understanding of what a Feature Request is?

I can think of a half-dozen workarounds, and if I didn’t, I would have posted some request for assistance.
Honestly, it’s not important enough for me, either, that I spend time creating hacks.

It just seems worthwhile to suggest an quick-win improvement to get the functionality out-of-the-box.
