Use HA to send Whatsapp messages to group

Hi,

I want to have Home Assistant send notifications as part of an automation to phone numbers (mine or my partner’s) or groups in Whatsapp. I’ve seen a few integrations available, but I’m not sure which are trustworthy. I figure the official one can’t be easily connected to HA?

How can I implement such a whatsapp-notification service and which integrations are trustworthy?

I use callmebot. not had any issues so far quick and easy to setup.

2nd year here using CallMeBot. No issues with it all and has been very reliably and responsive. Would recommend.

Use callmebot since over 3 years, never Had any Problems with it.

@Frosty @santiniuk @Spegeli The only issue I have is that it can’t send something to a whatsapp group. Do you use something else for that?

Thanks! I’ve come across that one (it’s linked in the OP) but not a lot of people used it and there’s not much info about it, so I was hesitant due to security / privacy concerns with that one and the WAPI. CallMeBot is used more often, and is spoken about more often
