Use Pushover as input to Home Assistant

Hi,

I am sorry, if this question was already answered in the forum, but I wasn’t able to find it.

I am currently receiving notifications over pushover and would like to input them to my Home Assistant. There I am planning to send them to a speaker over an ESP and play them with TTS.

I could only find insctructions of how to output messages via Pushover.

I imagine someone would have to write an integration using the beta Open Client API: Pushover: Open Client API

I needed this myself recently so have created a custom integration that you can load through HACS.
