Use variable to set color

Hi

I have different cards to show entities graphs on different dashboards.
I would like to minimize the effort when I want to change the color of an specific entities.
My plan is to use variables somehow.

I started with HACS Var integration, but even the variable has the proper value, it does not works:

  • if it works line should be pink, not black

anyone did something similar? there is any HACS integration I can use?

This FR appears to be asking for an enhancement to a custom card (Mini Graph Card). According to its documentation, its color option only supports a string value and not an entity_id or a template.

Perhaps it would be best to make your suggestion directly to the custom card’s author in their GitHub repository in the Issues section (where other people have also posted their feature requests).
