Not looking for a lot from Blink but I have many around the perimeter of the house. My wife and I walk our 3 dogs often in the dark and I have HA set up for 150w LED flood lamps at almost every corner of the house which is pretty large when you include my late Mother’s suite.
HA loaded up Blink painlessly, but yesterday when I ran out of motion sensors I noticed that these cameras have a binary sensor for motion detection. I have set a small simple automation but it does not seem to work. Has anyone used the cameras as motion sensors vs paying $40usd for a good quality Z-Wave outdoor rated sensor?
