Hi, my situation is that I have an old type 3 phase electricity meter with the old wheel, I have installed a Zwave version energy meter with CT clamps. This way measuring all power in and outbound.
Next to that I have 30 solar panels, giving me just enough to cover my yearly energy usage.
My problem is that the CT-Clamp device does not show negative values when supplying power to the grid, so like now I have a production of 7.18KWh and the CT clamps show 6.07KWh, so the energy page shows I deliver about 1KWh to the grid, which is of course completely false info as it is the 6.07 being delivered to the grid.
I won’t tell you the most easiest solution but you might add might also CT-clamps on the dedicated solar groups. The old meter besides pulse can also be read visible given you present meter values (clueless how to do this) and do a lot of calculations. In this topic zigomatic was looking for a similar solution.
And now just saying something potential stupid and dangerous so please verify before taking any action. I know if you put both the live and neutral lines inside a CT-clamp you will not measure anything. So what will you measure if you put inside the ct-clamp the live of the phase and neutral of your solar group?
BTW if this works, it will only work if this solar group is on the same phase.
To be honest I just started with CT-clamps and trying to perfect my ESPhome-yaml: just added the variable voltage of the phase for calculations. Present power is not a big deal but now want to add total power, possible to share your yaml? (will also start looking for them off course).
