My ecobee thermostat shows what equipment is running (eg. heat stage 1 or 2. Cool, fan). I would like to use the status of the fan to control a smart plug which would have a booster fan plugged into it to push more air to one section of the house. If ecobee shows the fan as running, it would turn the plug on and then turn the plug off when it is not running. Does anyone know if there is an ecobee attribute I can use in an automation that will tell me this? TIA

Have you had any luck? I did find that ecobee has added an attribute that allows this. Let me know if you need info.thanks
