Using home assistant for the first time with raspberry

Hi @everyone, i am new here and i am new to homeassistant. i have carefully studied and watched various materials and guide on how to install home assistant supervised (simply because of the add-on which is needed for my trained voice assistant).
i have tried for over a week trying different methods but i just couldn’t get it. Please any one to assit, these are the information i have concerning mysetup environment
Model : Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Rev 1.2

PRETTY_NAME=“Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)”
NAME=“Debian GNU/Linux”
VERSION_ID=“12”
VERSION=“12 (bookworm)”
VERSION_CODENAME=bookworm

Docker version 26.0.1, build d260a54

i will appreciate if anyone can assist.
PS: i am trying to use the homeassistant with esp32 to create a virtual assistant

Follow this guide step-by-step

Which add on requires Supervised?

That was the impression I had bc I will need to integrate esphome to it

What if I decided to run it on. Ubuntu Os on a system. Any hope

Supervised is only supported on Debian. Any none Debian system is prone to create ‘unsupported’ and ‘unhealthy’ messages.

So you think you need supervised for Esphome? Or am i mistaken?

Voice assistant is easy enough with esphome on HAOS.

Read the docs before watching youtube vids.

Just install HAOS it will run esphome.

Thanks everyone, esphome is up and running now, :kissing_heart:
