Using Homey as Zigbee/ZWave/RF transciever

I would like to use my Homey as a Zigbee / ZWave and RF transceiver and use Home Assistant for the logic and rules. Is there any possibility to do this?

Got it working by following this tutorial;

The usefulness of Homey as a generic transceiver will be quite limited.

For one, you won’t be able to add devices for which Homey doesn’t have specific support.

Also, Homey’s Zigbee implementation is pretty lacking, both in terms of hardware (it uses a CC2530) and in software (the current stable v4 firmware doesn’t support a lot of Zigbee features; there’s an experimental rewrite as part of the upcoming v5 hardware which is a lot better, but it’s still running on the same limited hardware).

If you just happen to have a Homey lying around, I would suggest selling it and buy a Conbee II or CC2652R stick for Zigbee and an Aeotec or UZB1 stick for Z-Wave, and probably have cash left over :smiley:
