Using the Clock Weather Card with the Sun sensor for 2 time zones

I am using a conditional card that changes the clock weather card from US-Pacific to Korea every 20 seconds and for the most part it works. The icons reflect the weather in the second time zone perfectly but the sun / moon icons are incorrect for the second time zone because it uses the sun.sun sensor on the local HA’s instance.

The weather card has a configurable setting for the sun.sensor so I am wondering if it would possible to have a second sun sensor. Or maybe there might be a simple work around.

Use Sun2 instead.
It is also far superior to the built-in sun sensor

Thanks for the suggestion. I had a look at that and thought it would be overly complicated to solve such a small issue for one dashboard and one wife. But hey it is worth a try.

Their Add to Home Assistant button failed me so I guess it’s going to be a manual install.

PS: she’s not the one who discovered he moon was out of phase :space_invader: twas moi

Thanks for the suggestion @WallyR. I set up the Sun2 integration but don’t see an exposed entity that can be used for the Clock-Weather cards sun sensor. I’ve tried the Elevation and Azimuth entities but neither of these seem to be correct. Unfortunately the Clock-Weather docs do not explain what data is needed to make this work.

I am assuming that it would show the moon until sunrise then show the sun until sunset. But none of Sun2’s entities seem to have this data.

Anyone have the Sun2 integration working with the Clock-Weather card please chime in.
Thanks

Ask the developer on the GitHub page for the card.
