Using 'Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS' as the OS is not supported

Since de 0.114 update I’ve got the “Unable to load the panel source: /api/hassio/app/entrypoint.js” error.
So, i’ve decided to restore a backup… That’s what they are for.

Now, after removing al HA related docker stuff I’ve ran in to a new issue. It won’t start due to unsupported OS?

It runs’ fine on Ubuntu 20.04. I think you made a mistake somewhere in the installation, or have some corruption on your hdd.

No, I’m running 20.04.1, not 20.04. There is no corruption on my SSD. I even tried a fresh install, still te same error.

readlink errors typically indicate filesystem corruption.

Thank you for your reply.

Just checked my SSD (PCI-E). SMART tests and bad block test went fine. FSCK gave no errors.

Still same error. Checking folder “/var/lib/docker/overlay2/l/4TLD5JA3UKT6LEJW4I6CQ34ANW” on the OS gave no issues to.

Now checking with another SSD (SATA).

New SSD, same error. So no hardware related error.

Just responding to say I have the exact same error. Home assistant container doesn’t start automatically anymore. Works fine after manual start of the docker container, but can’t load supervisor panel.

Edit: after reverting to supervisor version 230, it works again. So run the following commands:

docker pull homeassistant/amd64-hassio-supervisor:202
docker tag homeassistant/amd64-hassio-supervisor:202 homeassistant/amd64-hassio-supervisor:latest
systemctl stop hassio-supervisor.service
systemctl start hassio-supervisor.service

I got it from this reply: Supervisor not starting after update to 207 · Issue #1556 · home-assistant/supervisor · GitHub

thanks, i had the same problem, supervisor updated to 234 and then went crazy.
revert back to 230 and now it’s working fine.
WTF is wrong with 234?
I wish supervisor doesn’t update automatically, i was on vacation and s**t happened :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I have created an issue about this, but it has already been closed, even though I’m not sure if it has really been solved:

Same thing happening with Supervisor v245

hi
any progress?

I run 20.04.1 on a Lenovo M93p, 8gb memory, 128gb SSD, Docker version 19.03.13 and the hassio supervised install. Been doing this for many months (previously on Raspbian for years). Apply all updates in a timely (not immediate) fashion. I have never seen any problems booting, starting, etc. Why you and not me?

running similar: 20.04 / NUC i5 16GB memory 1G HDD / Docker. No problem either… except the no support message
