Utilitech gb00z-1 z-wave glass break detector

Have Utilitech/gocontro (Nortek)l GB00Z-1 Z-wave glass break detector . Z-wave JS with 6 entities(1 disabled)

Glass Break: Battery Level - obvious what is
Glass Break: General Purpose Duration - sensor - ??? (time in sec)
Glass Break: General Purpose Severity - sensor - ??? (%)
Glass Break : General Purpose State - binary sensor - ??? (on/off)
Glass Break : Low Battery Level ’ Normal" - binary sensor
disabled - Glass Break: Indicator value - ???

Not sure how to integrate and values - just want if detects glass break to trigger automation (node red) I would guess if glass break either general purpose state off->on? or severity above 0%.

Has anybody used this? any suggestions?

Test it, get a cheap sheet of glass (or a couple) and go to town. Don’t use the included adhesive, use some cheap double sticky tape for testing.
You could also try a second hand store for old windows (like Habitat for Humanity stores)
I would make sure you set extra logging for all the above so you don’t miss anything.
If you use Zwave2MQTT, then you could use MQTT Explorer (load it before hand) to keep track of statuses and duration.
Please post the outcome, I’m kinda curious.

did you ever figure this out? how reliable is this zwave sensor?

Yes it integrated and was discovered by zwave. I have node red to set alert if “general purpose state” is on. I had alert one day when my son was watching a hockey game and was clapping real loud so I gather works
