Over the last few days i have noticed that my utility meter entities that are used to track my peak/off-peak power consumption do not show up in any dashboards any more. It does not seem to matter what type of card i use the value never shows up, see screenshot. I have confirmed that the the entity has a value and can see it in the history graph and also a value in developer tools and can even show it using the template section of the developer tools
Have you got more than one entity with the same friendly name? If this is the case, the drop-downs in the UI seem to select the first - which may not be the one you want.
Hmm, Went back to double check that i was using the absolute sensor name this morning and can now see the values again, No idea what changed overnight but seems to be resolved now. Was the ghost of leave it alone and it will fix its self
