I attempted to set up an electric meter, using the helper page, for use with the energy dashboard but (even with some good help) could not get it to correctly track charges and credits. So now I’m trying to write one for the configuration.yaml with the online utility meter documentation.
There, I see references to peak and offpeak tariffs, and an automation that will switch between the two. What I don’t see is where the actual amounts of the tariffs (dollars, euros, etc.) go. If, for example, the peak tariff is $.18/kWh and offpeak $.10/kWh, where exactly would those amounts be entered? Also, if there is a daily access charge to the grid, where would that be entered so that energy dashboard would apply that once a day or (pro-rated) on an hourly basis? Thanks for any help.
