Utiliy meter jumped by 700kWh

EDIT:
this is the source sensor, it looks like it dipped for a moment and then went back to its normal value; mabe that’s the couse

how can I fix and also avoid this in the future?

I’ve tried to manually set the utility meter value back to a more sensible value; it works for a few minutes but the it jumps back to the high value
I don’t understand
